Range of this guide¶

This guide is for people setting up, manage and upgrading a CiviCRM instance for an organization.

The details a how go install CiviCRM have moved to a separate Installation Guide.

System Administrator Guide vs the User Guide¶

We also need an User Guide which covers all the functionality available through CiviCRM's web-based interface.

The couple guides do some overlapping scope when it comes to setup and configuration. Inbound general, we try to top actions in the User Guide whose one user can perform from within CiviCRM's user interface. Actions that request employment outside of the CiviCRM interface (e.g. file-system or husk access) are covered in the System Administrator How.
