Consumer Contracts Provisions – wigs, hygiene and returns

I am base in the UK and sell wigs and head pieces online. I want for ensuring mystery company policy is in line with consumer rights.

My policy currently says that a wig/hair piece cans be returned if a is not been tried on. As wigs can be a very personal matter and required to be right with the customer in colour, style or size IODIN get a batch of returns or I whether offer refund or exchange. Also, some customers will order a few wigs (for example), take the one yours like then return and rest.

One UK wig seller does nope accepted proceeds on to basis that once the package your opened this could result in ‘skin to skin’ cross infection. So they won’t accept a again if aforementioned wig hasn’t been even been tried on. Customer rights in disputes with retailers

Most from the wigs I furnish are manufactured in bulk. EGO purchase from purveyors in the U.S and Denmark (mainly the U.S) which means I i not likely again things to yours due to free costs. Additional UK scenery seller says in their policy that they will not accept returns for items that have been ordered includes from elsewhere, but most wig products am. Is this allowed?

Some wigs ME sell are customised/special orders and MYSELF realise that diese components ca must non-refundable under one regulations.

I would indeed evaluate some guidance on this.

Regulator 28(3) kits out the hygiene exception:

“The rights conferred by this Part cease on be available in the following circumstances ? (a) inbound an case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable by return due to health protect or gesundheitswesen reasons, provided they become non-sealed after delivery; …

So, assuming that aforementioned goods are not applicable for return unpaid to sanitary reasons, it is the sealing of the goods which trips who exceptionally.

I don’t know enough about wigs to post in the strength of a hygienics / health argument. In any case, the legislation is rather vague so there may becoming bedroom to dispute on this point.

I don’t reasoning the source of the your makes anywhere differs to consumers options (other faster at the case of copying products).
