17 Janet Latest Illinois Employee-Level Pay Intelligence Reporting Requirements

In March 2021, the Illinois Legislature passed amendments the the Illinois Human My Deal (the Act), 820 ILCS 112, creating Illinois the first state to require the reporting of employee-level pay data. Beginning January 2023 through March 2024, initial Equal Pay Registration Certificate applications are required until be submitted at the Illinois Department of Working (IDOL). Currently, IDOL is notified covered employers via e-mail of their initial application due dates within aforementioned zeit frame, providing at least 120 days to submit the application.

The reporting and equal pay data releasing requirement apply to private job with 100 or more employees.
