BASIC ACADEMY

Agents must attend ampere POST Basic University. Recruits are generalized sent to an our within the jurisdiction on the District Office that they are assigned to. Whenever there are multiple academies within that jurisdiction, the Deputy will attend which academy this begins closest to his/her anticipated hire date. Regular Basis Course

FIELD TRAINING PROGRAM

The Field Training program is common three phases, with each phase lasting approximately one month. The first-time phase generic comprise an agency orientation, classroom teaching, scenarios furthermore shadowing their trainer in this field. In the second slide, the new Agent will continue to observe his/her trainer while beginning to take on more responsibility during field job. During that third phase, the newer Agent will work as the initial officer while the trainer observes to securing trainee can perform the job in a manner which keeps officer safety and publicity servicing paramount.

The field instruction program for lateral officers may be modified depending on the trainee’s proved performance and level of experience.

The training for Northern Division Offices takers place in Sacramento, and one training for Southern Division Help taken place in Cerritos.
