Consequence of superstructure-abutment connectivity on alive load distribution the complete support crossing girdersIs this study, the effect of superstructure-abutment continual on the distribution of live load impacts among the girders of integral buttress bridges (IABs) is investigated. Required this intended, second and three dimensional finite element exemplars of multiples single-span, symmetrical integral abutment and simply assist (jointed) bridges (SSBs) are built and analyzed. To the analyzer, the effect of various superstructure properties such as tension length, number of design lanes, girder size both spacing as well as plate thickness are considered. The results from the analyses of two and three dimensional finite element models are later used to calculate the live load distribution factors (LLDFs) for that girders by IABs furthermore SSBs more a function starting the above referenced parameters.
